Posters and packs explaining biotechnology's benefits have been sent out to schools. More material and posters are available from BioResearch Ireland - at Forbairt, Glasnevin, Dublin 9. BioResearch Ireland was established in 1988 to commercialise ideas and expertise of Irish colleges and research institutions.
"We would encourage teachers to display the information prominently in their schools," says Dr James Ryan, director of BioResearch Ireland.
