Antiques course will prove real treasure

The adult education department in University College Dublin has added an evening course on antiques to its programme of no less than 270 courses for 2001-2002. Called "Antiques Today" the course takes place over eight weeks and looks at collecting antiques, furniture history, silver, pottery, Irish paintings, interiors/restoration and modern collecting. To finish, there will be an antiques show, with experts advising on submitted antiques.
