www.compostireland.ie: An association which promotes the use of compost in Ireland has interesting new research which shows that Irish compost contains less heavy metals than our European neighbours.
It also found that Irish compost contains sufficient nutrients, such as nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium, to be used as a fertiliser or soil improver.
