Brussels - Some 300 people packed a Belgian church yesterday for a Mass in memory of two eight-year-old girls whose bodies were found two years ago at the nearby house of the convicted child rapist, Marc Dutroux. Investigators unearthed the bodies of Julie Lejeune and Melissa Russo on August 17th, 1996, from the garden of Dutroux's house, just a short distance from the church in Sars-la-Buissiere where Sunday's Mass was held. Dutroux (41) has been charged with the rape and murder of four girls and the kidnapping of two others. His trial is not expected before September 2000.
