Gardaí have advised motorists that O'Connell Street, Parnell Street, Cavendish Row, Saint Mary's Place and Great Western Way will be closed from 7pm today.

From 6am tomorrow, Constitution Hill and Dorset Street will be closed.

From 7am, Nicholas Street, Patrick Street, Christchurch Place, Lord Edward Street, Dame Street, College Green, Westmoreland Street, O'Connell Bridge, Parnell Square, North Frederick Street, Dorset Street Upper, Dominick Street Upper, Mountjoy Street, Marlborough Street, Cathal Brugha Street, North Earl Street, Abbey Street Lower, Talbot Street and Gardiner Street will be closed.

From 9am, Lower Ormond Quay, Swifts Row, Eden Quay, Bachelors Walk, Denmark Street, Great Denmark Street, North Great George's Street, Rutland Place, Mountjoy Street, Fontenoy Street, Blessington Street, Wellington Street, Temple Street, Gardiner Place, Grenville Street, Seán MacDermott Street, North Cumberland Street will be closed.

There will also be restrictions on the North Strand, Portland Row, Parnell Street, Capel Street, Parliament Street, Dame Street, College Green, College Street, Pearse Street and the north and south quays from Fr Matthew Bridge to Butt Bridge and O'Connell Bridge.

The North Circular Road and the South Circular Road will be used as the main diversions for traffic crossing the city.

A Garda spokesman said that gardaí will be on traffic duty at all junctions and motorists are advised to follow instructions.

Road closures are expected to end at 2.30pm tomorrow afternoon.
