A Dublin man has been arrested and charged with raping a young girl at a Waterford children's home seven years ago. The man (46), with an address in south Dublin, is also accused of unlawful carnal knowledge of the girl, aged under 15 years, at Shanbally, Cappoquin, in January, 1990.
He was remanded in custody with consent to £15,000 bail to appear again on May 14th.
