A concert in aid of the survivors of the Iranian earthquake in Bam that killed 40,000 people will be held in Dublin later this month.

Lisa Hannigan, Paul Noonan of Bell X1, Steve and Joe Wall, cellist Vyvienne Long, the Tycho Brahe, Shakram Music and the Dance Company will perform at Vicar Street on Wednesday, January 28th.

All proceeds will support the work of Belfast-based Save the Children, which is working with children left homeless or orphaned by the disaster.

Tickets are on sale from Road Records, Sound Cellar, Claddagh Records, City Disc and Ticketmaster outlets, priced at €28.
