A WIDOW whose husband was killed in a traffic accident told a court she did not want to see the driver of the car that killed him jailed, but she never wanted him to drive again.

Timothy Dilworth (46), of Waterloo, Blarney, Co Cork, who pleaded guilty to two charges of dangerous driving, causing the deaths of Mr Denis Walsh, of Two Pot House, Mallow, and Mr John Burke, of Waterloo, on October 31st, 1994, gave an undertaking to Judge A.G. Murphy in the Cork Circuit Criminal Court that he would never drive again. Judge Murphy imposed a sentence of four years penal servitude, which he suspended.
