Dublin-and London-listed exploration company Dragon Oil today reported the completion of initial testing of wells in Turkmenistan.
It said combined flow rates of 2,141 and 2,511 bopd were recorded at LAM 28/137 and LAM 13/138.
Dragon chief executive Dr Abdul Jaleel Al Khalifa said he was pleased the drilling had been completed as scheduled.
“We are progressing the drilling programme in line with the field development strategy and we expect to have completed eight wells by the end of 2009.”
