THE Director of Public Prosecutions has been given a week to produce a book of evidence in the case of a father and son accused of kidnapping a Dublin man who was later found murdered.

Mr Joseph Delaney (52), of Newhall, Naas, Co Kildare, and Mr Scott Delaney (22), of Palmerstown Park, Palmerstown, Co Dublin, have been in custody since they were charged last December. The two men are accused of falsely imprisoning Mark Dwyer at a flat in Foster Terrace, Ballybough, Dublin, on December 14th, 1996.

Judge Con O'Leary remanded the defendants in custody and ordered that a book of evidence be served in Dublin District Court on May 13th.
