Customers with Discount Travel, a Dublin travel firm which has ceased trading, will be accommodated under the statutory scheme for refunds, the Department of Transport, Energy and Communications has said.
The Department will also ensure that customers who are abroad could complete their holidays without disruption.
Claims under the company's bond must be made within the next 60 days. Those who have made bookings should contact the Department's travel trade section at 01 6041614, 6041621 and 6041622.
