On the Town: Guests at the Gaiety Theatre got in the mood by dressing up. Hippies in platform boots, bell-bottoms and tangerine tops gathered outside the theatre this week for the opening of Oh! What a Night.

Then it was time to listen to the music of the 1970s - "when the summers were long and hot and the music was cool disco baby", as the show's star, Kid Creole, put it. Oh! What a Night runs at the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin, until Saturday, May 15th. It runs at the Cork Opera House from Monday, May 17th to Saturday, May 22nd and at the Gaiety again from Monday, May 24th to Saturday, June 5th.
