Army bomb disposal experts have made safe an improvised explosive device (IED) discovered in Tallaght last night.
The team was deployed to Kiltipper Park shortly before 5pm following a request by gardaí.
Two shotguns and a quantity of ammunition were also discovered at the site.
The scene was declared safe at 7.45pm.
