Extradition proceedings involving a man who is wanted in Spain over the death of his wife four years ago, have been scheduled for December 10 th.
Mr Michael Dermot McArdle (35), with an address at Haggardstown, Dundalk, Co Louth appeared before the High Court on November 22nd on foot of a warrant issued by the Spanish authorities. He is currently on bail awaiting the extradition hearing.
Spanish police have been investigating the death of Mr McArdle's wife, Kelly-Anne who fell to her death on February 12th, 2000.
Mr McArdle will oppose the application, Mr Justice Peart was told today.
