A date has been set for the trial of a man charged with the murder of a Kilkenny postmaster.
Shu Shen (24), a Chinese national formerly of The Old Rectory, New Ross, Co Wexford, is due to go on trial for the murder of Alan Cunniffe on November 19th.
Mr Cunniffe, the postmaster and owner of the Centra Supermarket on John's Green in Kilkenny, died on December 8th, 2006.
He was shot in the stomach when he chased an armed raider who was fleeing the shop.
