The EU wants to get access to the information collected by the US security services on passengers and share it with national police forces and Europol.

The US should provide reciprocal support for any EU passenger identification system adopted in the future (plans are already under way to build one).

The agreement should be concluded for seven years and include a provision for either party to denounce it. It should be reviewed after five years.

EU airlines should provide passenger information to the US themselves rather than give the authorities electronic access to booking systems.
