The Dáil will adjourn for its Christmas recess tonight for almost six weeks.
At the end of business today, the Dail will have sat for 96 days this year and the Seanad for a total of 81 days.
Some 67 Bills have been published this year, including 25 Private Members' Bills. A total of 33 have been enacted and a further eight are due to be enacted within the coming week, according to the Oireachtas press office.
A total of 42,200 parliamentary questions have been submitted this year and just 3.94 per cent of those were disallowed.
