Two men arrested following €190,000 cannabis seizure

Man aged 45 due to appear in court following discovery of 30kg of drug

Two men have been arrested after gardaí seized cannabis with an estimated street value of €190,000 in the Finglas area of Dublin.

Gardaí from the Special Crime Task Force and the Organised Crime Bureau Unit seized 30 kgs of cannabis resin, or hash, and a half of kilo of cannabis herb along with a quantity of cash.

Two men aged 45 and 56 were arrested and detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station.

The 45-year-old is due to appear before the Courts of Criminal Justice in Dublin on Thursday morning while the second man remains in custody.
