A new academic post, the McCann FitzGerald Chair of Corporate Law, has just been established in the law school of Trinity College, and Prof Blanaid Clarke has been appointed as the inaugural chair. She joins Trinity from the School of Law at UCD, where she had been since 1991, most recently as associate professor in law.
She is also one of the founding members of the Centre for Corporate Governance at UCD.
