Motorcyclist killed in crash in Co Donegal

A man was killed following a road crash in Co Donegal this evening.

The victim was on his motorcycle at Oakfield Demesne, Derry Road, Raphoe when he and another vehicle crashed at about 4pm.

Nobody else was hurt in the incident and gardai subsequently closed off the road to allow forensic investigators attend the scene. Traffic diversions in place.

Gardai have requested the public’s assistance in its investigation and has asked anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them at Letterkenny Garda station at (074) 9167100, the confidential line on 1800 666 111 or any other station.
