Gardaí seize €140,000 worth of cannabis plants in Co Leitrim

Gardaí have seized €140,000 worth of cannabis plants in Co Leitrim following a house search.

Some 175 cannabis plants were seized at a house in Cluain Alainn in Carraigallen as part of an investigation into the sale and supply of illegal drugs.

The house was searched under warrant at 11am on Wednesday. The house was unoccupied and no one was arrested.

The scene has been sealed off for technical examination and gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact Carrick on Shannon Garda Station on 0484339602.
