Drugs worth €75,000 seized and man arrested after Kildare search

Assorted drugs worth an estimated €75,000 were seized and a man arrested after a planned search of a premises in Newbridge, Co Kildare last night.

The drugs recovered in the 10pm search by gardaí from the Kildare District Drugs Unit included cannabis herb, plants and resin, along with cocaine and ecstasy.

The man, aged 38, was arrested and being detained at Newbridge Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
