A medical student and his wife appeared in court in Dublin last night charged in connection with an attack on their two-month-old baby.
Mr Imran Meer and his wife Parveen were brought before the late sitting of the Dublin District Court over an attack on the baby boy in November 2002, in which he suffered brain damage.
The couple were remanded in custody to Clover Hill prison to appear in court again on August 19th.
