A 37-year-old Cork man was charged with murder at a special sitting of Midleton District Court last night. Mr Christopher McCarthy, of St Coleman's Terrace, Cloyne, was charged with the murder of Mr John Heelam (52) of Berkeley Court, Cloyne, yesterday. He was remanded in custody.
