Driven mad by insurance charge

A READER called Martina called her insurance company with a simple request last week and was left gobsmacked by the response.

“I had to change my address as I had moved house,” she writes.

So far, so what?

She heard the woman in the call centre typing in her new address as she called it out.

“She then told me that there would be a €20 administration charge.

“For what? She couldn’t give me a proper answer!

“They won’t be sending me a new disc so what does this charge cover?”

Sadly our reader did not give us the name of the insurance company as we would like to shame them.
