Bogota - Conservative Party candidate Mr Andres Pastrana yesterday defeated ruling Liberal Party candidate Mr Horacio Serpa in Colombia's presidential run-off election, officials said.
With more than 92 per cent of the vote counted, Mr Pastrana had garnered 50.8 per cent of the vote against Mr Serpa's 46.1 per cent.
