A senior garda has warned nightclub owners in Co Donegal they face closure if they do not deal with the problem of illegal drugs. Supt Tom Murphy has served notice on two licensed premises in Inishowen under the Combating Drugs Abuse Act, giving them 30 days to end the distribution of controlled drugs. Supt Murphy was involved in the closure of four licensed premises in Dublin's inner city and in a successful campaign to reduce the crime level in Temple Bar before moving to Donegal.
