Ballinderry 1-11 Latton 0-10:Ballinderry will join Gaels in the semis after a 1-11 to 0-10 win over Latton at Ballinascreen.

Raymond Wilkinson's 35th minute goal proved crucial but the Monaghan side were always going to struggle after Barry McCabe was sent off moments beforehand.

Clonoe 1-08 St Eunan's 2-10:Controversial Clonoe managed to secure the services of banned players Emmet Teague and Colm Doris by means of a rules loophole but their inclusion was not enough tp fend off the challenge of Donegal side St Eunan's at Coalisland.

First half goals from Ryan O'Neill (Clonoe) and David McGinley contributed to a 1-06 to 1-05 scoreline in favour of Clonoe, but Ciaran Sharkey's penalty gave the advantage to Damien Cassidy's side and they never let it slip.

LEINSTER CLUB SFC FIRST ROUND

Kilmacud Crokes 0-13 Celbridge 0-8:Dublin champions Kilmacud Crokes recorded
a mature and businesslike win over a Celbridge at Parnell Park this afternoon.

Crokes switched Jonny Magee into their full forward line but two minutes into the game he dislocated a finger and came off straight away to be replaced by the sprightly young prospect Barry O' Rourke.

Crokes coped well with the loss though and Mark Vaughan stepped up to the plate to lead them to victory with five frees.

Éire Óg (Carlow) 3-10 Kiltegan (Wicklow) 1-12:Two first half goals from Éire Óg full forward Mark Kelly set up the Carlow football champions for victory over Kiltegan of Wicklow.

The Carlow champions, who have a tremendous pedigree in this competition, caused major problems for the Wicklow side in the opening quarter. They led 1-4 to nil after 13 minutes after the first of Kelly's goal brace.

His 30th minute goal rocked the Wicklow champions back on their heels as Éire Óg took an interval lead of 2-4 to 0-5.

Kiltegan remained in contention throughout most of the second half but were unable to break down a solid home defence for a goal that might have given them a genuine chance of victory.

LEINSTER CLUB SHC QUARTER-FINAL

Ballyhale Shamrocks (Kilkenny) 1-18 Rathdowney-Errill (Laois) 1-11:At Nowlan Park a master class from Ballyhale Shamrocks saw them into the final at the expense of Laois side Rathdowney-Errill.

Henry Shefflin and co were as strong as ever and established an early lead on which to build.

Shefflin himself got eight points, five from frees, while the goal came from Eoin Reid.

MUNSTER CLUB SHC QUARTER-FINAL

Sarsfields (Cork) 0-26 Clonlara (Clare) 0-10: Sarsfields eased into the Munster Club Senior Hurling semi-final following a comprehensive win over a disappointing Clonlara at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

The Cork champions had a contest on their hands approaching the end of the first-half, but they pulled away in stoppage-time, scoring four points without reply to lead 0-14 to 0-7 at the break.

Clonlara lost their discipline and composure on the run-in, culminating in a straight red card for centre-back Domhnall O'Donnell for a late chop on Pat Ryan.

Ryan pointed 12 times in total, nine from frees, and was replaced to a standing ovation late on.
