N'DJAMENA - Chadians voted peacefully in large numbers yesterday in the first multi party elections after decades of internal conflict and war with neighbouring Libya. Fourteen candidates were opposing President Idriss Deby of the Patriotic Salvation Movement (MPS), who took office March, 1991.
