Pau scrumhalf Philippe Carbonneau has been drafted into the French side for Saturday's Six Nations Championship clash against Ireland at Lansdowne Road.

Carbonneau takes over from Fabien Galthie who must serve an automatic one-match ban after getting a yellow card in Colomiers' French Championship game with Montferrand last weekend.

It is the only change after France's 16-6 win over Scotland 10 days ago.

France, unbeaten in Dublin since 1983, will have Stade Francais scrumhalf Christophe Laussucq on the bench instead of Carbonneau.
