GAA – Team news:Influential Cork captain Graham Canty was declared fit and will lead Cork out against Down in this Sunday's SFC All-Ireland final at Croke Park (3.30pm).

The Rebels’ talisman has struggled with a hamstring problem all year and has played little over 30 minutes of football since the injury recurred against Roscommon in the quarter-final in August. He started against Dublin in the semi-final but was forced to limp off injured.

Canty will lead from centre half-back as manager Conor Counihan makes just one change to the starting line-up but named a team that shows several positional changes.

Dual star Eoin Cadogan, who replaced Canty during the Dublin win, was also declared fit to face the Mournemen and will start at corner back in place of John Miskella. Michael Shields and Ray Carey form the rest of the back-line.

In front of Canty, Alan O’Connor and Aidan Walsh will orchestrate the midfield and Nicholas Murphy acting as cover.

After reshuffling the pack Counihan left out Colm O'Neill, who could easily have started after playing a strong second half role against Dublin in the semis.

Up front Donncha O’Connor moves to full-forward while Ciaran Sheehan will take his place at wing half forward with Paul Kerrigan and Daniel Goulding also named. Pearse O'Neill and Patrick Kelly are also named in the half-forward line.

Down will name their starting line-up tomorrow.
