London - The EU should develop a stronger, more efficient and more independent military capability, the Defence Secretary, Lord Robertson, said yesterday. Lord Robertson, who is soon to take up his post as NATO Secretary-General, said the EU should develop the capacity to take independent, timely and informed decisions on crises when NATO was not engaged.
