Two buses have collided in central Venezuela, killing 26 passengers and injuring 15.

Two buses have collided in central Venezuela, killing 26 passengers and injuring 15.

The collision occurred near the city of San Carlos, 130 miles west of the capital Caracas.

The firefighters said the driver of a smaller bus lost control and veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with the larger bus.

Twenty-two people died at the scene, and four died on the way to the hospital.
