LONDON - Over the counter medicines may be cheaper in Britain after the Office of Fair Trading yesterday announced action to abolish a manufacturers' price fixing agreement which affects the shop cost of products such as pain killers antiseptic creams and health foods. The announcement followed a review of policy after supermarket chain Asda defied RPM by slashing prices.
