Racing: Brave Inca is on target to make his autumn reappearance in the Maplewood Developments Morgiana Hurdle at Punchestown on November 19th.

Colm Murphy's star, winner of the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham in March, took this two-mile contest last season when it was a Grade Two race.

It has been promoted to Grade One status and will carry a total prize fund of €100,000, an increase of €30,000 on last year.

Murphy said: "Brave Inca is in great form and we are looking forward to getting him to Punchestown next month.

"The increase to the prize fund is fantastic and if he can do what he did for us last year, we will be more than happy."

Announcing the increased sponsorship Michael Whelan, managing director of Maplewood Developments, said "We were delighted with last year's race which produced an exciting and controversial finish involving Brave Inca, Essex and Harchibald and look forward to another exciting renewal."
