The Remembrance Day bombing in Enniskillen taught us important lessons about the indomitable strength of the human spirit and the devotion of those who cared for the bereaved and injured, the President of the Methodist Church in Ireland has said. Dr Norman Taggart said the bombing 10 years ago "shook people throughout the world, including those who had become hardened by years of violence". Even today, "the suffering and the caring continue", he added. "We have seen the strength of Christian love, the power of forgiveness and the enduring nature of hope. This is a time to remember those who have died and those who still suffer. It is also a time to seek God's grace and guidance, and to renew our commitment to the search for peace and justice".
