The man whose body was found in Cobh harbour by local emergency services yesterday has been named as Mr David O’Mahoney.
Mr O’Mahoney (21) from Passage West in Co Cork, fell into the water at Glenbrook in the early hours of yesterday morning. Two friends with the man attempted to save him but they also got into trouble and were rescued by the fire brigade.
Mr Mahoney’s body was recovered yesterday morning at 8 a.m.
