The body of a teenage boy has been recovered from a river in Co Cork. The alarm was raised when the 14-year-old went missing when swimming with friends in the Blackwater near Fermoy earlier this evening.
His body was recovered shortly before 8pm following an extensive search of the area by the Blackwater Rescue Unit accompanied by gardaí and locals.
