One of Kerry's top visitor attractions, Muckross House and gardens in Killarney, is to undergo a £2.6 million restoration. A study commissioned by the National Parks and Wildlife Services and trustees of Muckross House has recommended the restoration of the Victorian character of more of the areas of the house accessible to the public and also the restoration of the Victorian walled garden, with improved access.
