ISLAMABAD - The Pakistan Prime Minister, Ms Benazir Bhutto, said yesterday that her government was devising a plan to eliminate child labour in the country, including a campaign to label rugs made without "the use of" child workers.

Ms Bhutto said Pakistan's National Commission for Child Welfare and Development, in collaboration with UNICEF, had proposed amendments to existing laws to curb abuse of child labour.
