New York - Actor Warren Beatty is considering standing for the US presidency next year. Ms Ellen Miller, who heads Public Campaign, a Washington-based group that lobbies for electoral finance reform, said: "He's thinking about it. He's thought a lot about it in the last few weeks."
Beatty, who starred as a senator in the title role of Bulworth last year, is said to be unhappy with both candidates for the Democratic party nomination, Vice-President Al Gore and the former New Jersey senator and one-time basketball star, Bill Bradley.
