A man charged in connection with the death of a man whose body was found in a disused shed near Dublin Airport has taken up bail, a court heard yesterday.
Mr Kevin McCarron (49), Doyles Lane, Arklow, Co Wicklow, was charged with the unlawful imprisonment of MR Noel Heffernan (38) at St Margarets, Co Dublin, between August 5th and 15th, 1999.
Independent bail of £3,500 was set last week and Judge Miriam Malone was told it had been taken up. She remanded him on continuing bail to May 8th next.
