A Cavan man who sexually assaulted a 78-year-old woman has been jailed for three years at the Central Criminal Court.
Mr Justice Smith said the last year of the sentence would be suspended if the accused, Thomas Cawley, attended a sex abusers' programme in prison.
Cawley, (63) of Bullock Lane, Cavan, had pleaded guilty to indecent assault on July 19th, 1996.
