The Gardaí at Coolock in Dublin are appealing for witnesses to an assault which has left a youth in critical condition at Dublin's Beaumont hospital.
The 17-year-old man was seriously injured in the incident which happened between 12 midnight and 3.30 a.m. yesterday morning in a laneway at the rear of Maryfield Drive, Artane.
