Pat Moylan (chairwoman) was for 18 years artistic director of Andrews Lane Theatre, which closed in May 2007 after being sold.

She nurtured new writing, acting, directing and design talent at the venue in commercially and critically successful productions, many of which went on to further success. Her biggest international hit was Stones in His Pockets, which played for four years in London's West End and on Broadway.

She produced the multi-award winning short film The Breakfast and the feature film Borstal Boy, both directed by Peter Sheridan.

This year she was nominated for an Irish Times Theatre Award for her contribution to the arts.

Louise Donlon, from Moydow, Co Longford, is director of the Dunamaise Arts Centre in Portlaoise. She has worked at the City Arts Centre in Dublin and at the Arts Council, and was administrator of Island Theatre Company in Limerick and general manager with Druid Theatre Company.

Paul Johnson is chief executive of Dance Ireland. A dance artist with over 21 years experience as a performer, choreographer and teacher, he has worked on dance, theatre and film projects with among others, Daghdha Dance, Dublin Contemporary Dance Theatre and Druid Theatre Company.

Fiona Kearney has been director of the Lewis Glucksman Gallery at UCC since 2003. She has worked in visual art at the National Sculpture Factory, Cork, Triskel Arts Centre, and UCC. Her awards include the NUI Prix d'Honneur from the French government,

Orlaith McBride (re-appointment), from Ardara, Co Donegal, has worked with local authorities, community arts, youth theatre and drama-in-education. She is director of the National Association for Youth Drama (NAYD) and producer of the National Youth Theatre. She is a member of the governing authority of DCU.

Caroline Senior has been artistic director of Garter Lane Arts Centre, Waterford since 1999. Most recently she project managed the €1.5 million redevelopment of the Garter Lane Theatre. Between 1998 and 2003, she performed annually in the professional training workshops at Carnegie Hall, established by the late Robert Shaw.
