Killaloe gardai expect several arrests soon in connection with the serious assault on Mr Patrick "Paud" Skehan over Easter. The bachelor farmer died last week from pneumonia following an attack on him in his home seven weeks ago. He was buried on Saturday.
Mr Skehan never regained consciousness after being beaten and tied up at his farmhouse in Ardnataggle, Bridgetown, Co Clare, at Easter.
