South Africa coach Harry Viljoen has recalled lock Mark Andrews to his team for the test against England at Twickenham on Saturday.

Andrews, who missed the 54-26 victory over Italy in Genoa last week, comes into the second row for AJ Venter, who moves back to flanker in place of the dropped Joe van Niekerk.

"England will provide a challenge on another level to Genoa," said Viljoen. "Mark's experience will be crucial to us and it was always my intention to play him against England."

"He brings a hardened edge to our pack," he added.
