Geneva - Air passenger traffic on international scheduled flights fell by 17 per cent in September from a year ago as a result of the September attacks, the International Air Transport Association said yesterday. Carriers registered in North America were most seriously affected, where passenger and freight traffic fell more than 30 per cent last month.
