MOGADISHU - Hussein Aideed, 35 year old son of the late faction leader, Mohamed Farah Aideed, was chosen yesterday to succeed his father as "president" of Somalia, proAideed radio has reported.
The radio said Aideed junior, a former US Marine, was elected by his father's council of ministers at a meeting in Mogadishu.
