AIB has announced an increase of 0.25 per cent in its standard variable mortgage lending rate following the European Central Bank's interest rate increase on December 7th.
AIB said today that from close of business on Wednesday, the new standard variable rate for owner occupiers will be 4.60 per cent.
Overdraft rates for personal and business customers increase by 0.25 per cent and 0.10 per cent respectively.
On the deposit side, the SSIA variable deposit rate increases by 0.25 per cent to 3.50 per cent, while the Online Personal Savings Plan rate increases from 4.25 per cent to 4.35 per cent.
